The following is a press release from Circle of Care.
Circle of Care for families of children with cancer named Bill Allan, Regional Director—Hudson Valley for Consigli Construction Co., Inc., and Ken Wisdom, a Wilton resident and Senior Advisor and former Head of Portfolio Advisors Real Estate, to its Board of Directors. Representatives from Circle of Care said in a statement that “both bring unique personal and professional experiences that will further strengthen the nonprofit’s mission of supporting families of children with cancer.”
Allan, a cancer survivor, brings not only his professional experience in managing healthcare projects but also a deep personal connection to the cause, as he understands firsthand the challenges families face during a cancer diagnosis. His leadership will be instrumental as Circle of Care continues to expand into Westchester County through its partnership with Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital. Wisdom’s extensive background in alternative investments, nonprofit leadership, and diversity initiatives will help strengthen Circle of Care’s sustainability and guide inclusive outreach as the organization continues to grow.
“We are thrilled to welcome Bill Allan and Ken Wisdom to our Board of Directors,” Circle of Care Co-Executive Director Liz Salguero said. “Both bring a wealth of expertise and a personal passion for helping families in need. We look forward to the impact they will make as we continue to grow and support more families.”
Circle of Care supports families of children with cancer through financial, practical, and emotional assistance. Over the past 20 years, it has helped over 3,600 families in Connecticut and the surrounding areas through programs such as emergency financial assistance and day-of-diagnosis care.
