The 40th Annual Wilton Jazz Symposium takes place this Friday, Feb. 26, from 3:30-9:30 p.m., in the Wilton High School Little Theater. Not only is this performance a free concert but it’s one of the most highly anticipated music events of the year.

The Wilton Jazz Symposium was the brainchild of acclaimed Wilton music teacher, John Rhodes, who will be retiring at the end of this year. The best high school jazz bands from around Fairfield County come together to perform. The evening is topped off with the Berkshire Jazz Orchestra, featuring Rhodes and his partner in music teaching, Frank “Chip” Gawle. Come for some or all performances and let these talented musicians wow you!
