The chance for snow is back, and that snow may impact Wilton schools Friday, Jan 6. I’ll be tracking light snow, which will begin to fall at around midnight tonight, continuing during all of early Friday morning. Then it should end by 7 or 8 a.m. Friday morning, following the inch or two of snow that is forecasted to fall. Temperatures will only be in the upper 20’s, so it will definitely be cold enough for snow. It will be a light, fluffy snow as well, so it will be easy to shovel or sweep away in the morning.

Now in terms of school predictions, there is a moderate to high chance for a two-hour delay in the morning. Because the snow will be over by 8 a.m., there is no chance for an early dismissal. Also, since snowfall will be light, I do not anticipate a closure for Friday.

Kids, have your fingers crossed tonight and hope for a school delay because one may certainly be on the way!
