Drop, Dash and Dine is a parent’s dream – an easy way to enjoy a Saturday lunch (with a special discount!) at one of Wilton’s most popular restaurants, while your child is engaged for a stimulating couple of hours (lunch included) at the Wilton Historical Society. This once a month program kicks off on Saturday, April 9 from 11 a.m.–1 p.m., featuring Bianco Rosso Wine Bar, which will offer Drop, Dash and Dine program participants a 10-percent discount.

While parents are relaxing at lunch, children will be in the capable hands of Lola Chen, museum educator at the Wilton Historical Society. She has a full program planned, including story time, a workshop to learn paper quilling, followed by lunch, which the children will help prepare.

Of course, parents can use this block of time for anything they want – time at the gym, errands, salon appointments, and more.

Space is limited, and reservations are essential – please call Chen at 203.762.7257 to register for a place for your child and to arrange restaurant reservations all at once. Children may be dropped off at the Society between 11–11:30 a.m. and must be picked up by 1 p.m.. Restaurant reservations will be for 11:30 a.m.. Suggested for ages 5 and up. The cost for Wilton Historical Society members is $25 per child/each additional child $10/maximum $40 per family; for non-members is $35 per child/each additional child $15/maximum $60 per family.

Additional restaurants will be featured in future months.
