Weather forecasters are calling for a snowstorm to potentially hit the east coast on Wednesday, just in time to mess up Thanksgiving holiday travel plans.
According to AccuWeather.com a snow and ice storm that hit hard in New Mexico and the Southern plains states over the past weekend is headed our way and could bring “substantial snow” with it for the day before Thanksgiving.
“The potential exists for a foot of snow to fall from Bradford, Pa., to Burlington, Vt.,” stated AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Eric Wanenchak, in a story posted to the weather website.
What’s more, the meteorologists at the weather site are predicting heavy rains for late Tuesday into Wednesday; they say that precipitation also will impact transportation negatively along the I-95 corridor, from Washington, DC to Boston.
