Time and Again, Raimondi Proves Financial Expertise and Dedication to Wilton
To the Editor:
I write to express wholeheartedly my support of Matt Raimondi for re-election to Wilton’s Board of Finance. As chairman of the BOF these past years, Mr. Raimondi has time and again proven his financial expertise and his dedication to Wilton. These years have not been easy, to say the least, and the years to come promise to be even more difficult. I can think of no one better or more able to face those challenges than Matt Raimondi. His civic-mindedness, his incredible energy, his work ethic, and his concern for all of Wilton’s citizens are exemplary. I applaud all that he has done for our town, and I urge everyone to join me and to vote for Matt Raimondi!

Pam Ely has Deep Understanding of What’s Needed to Create Quality Schools
To the Editor:
We write in strong support of Pam Ely for reelection to the Board of Education.
Over her long career in education in which she’s worked with many different age groups in a number of different settings, Pam has developed a deep understanding of the needs of children, parents, teachers and administrators and what is needed to create quality schools.
She uses that expertise superbly to advocate for, and build consensus for, school programs and budgets that work for all of us — children and their teachers and administrators, and residents generally — a difficult and daunting job.
Her devoted body of students and parents over the years attest to her extensive knowledge and extraordinary talents in education. To have a person with that deep background in the field of education serving on our Board of Education is a huge gift to our town.
Pam’s retirement from her long-held position as director of Children’s Day School in Wilton has enabled her to address even more attention to Wilton’s educational needs generally, and we are all the beneficiaries of her willingness to make that her continuing focus and to employ her great knowledge, ability and caring in doing so.
We are also the great beneficiaries of her warm heart and can-do enthusiasm that is so inspiring and brings out the best in everyone: students, educators and residents alike!

Kim Healy’s Steadfast Commitment to Wilton’s Financial Well-Being is Exemplary
To the Editor:
I am writing to express my enthusiastic support for Kim Healy for the Board of Finance. Having recently relocated from California — a state where political life has become overwhelming and state-level decisions often overpower local concerns — I have come to appreciate the unique character of Wilton. Kim Healy’s steadfast commitment to Wilton’s financial well-being stands out as exemplary. Additionally, Kim’s personal story is both admirable and relatable. She was raised in a family of police officers and healthcare professionals and now she is a mother of four, with two children currently attending college.
Professionally, Kim is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Her expertise in finance is complemented by her active leadership in local non-profit organizations and her involvement with the Connecticut Reading Leadership Council. Through these roles, Kim has demonstrated a strong commitment to the responsible management of local resources and to making a positive impact on our schools. She has served on the Board of Selectmen since 2021.
What I find most refreshing about Kim is that her motivation stems not from party politics but from a genuine desire to act in the best interest of our citizens. Kim’s experience, integrity, and enthusiasm make her an outstanding choice for the role of state representative.

Jill Warren, Colin Christ and Jed Englund Ready to Guide Wilton Wisely
To the Editor:
I am very excited to endorse Jill Warren, Colin Christ and Jed Englund for Wilton’s Planning and Zoning Commission. They know Wilton personally — and know what it takes to make thoughtful decisions for our town.
Jill Warren has been on the commission for six years, and she brings real experience to the table. As a civil defense attorney, she understands the law inside and out, including Connecticut’s 8-30g statute, and has consistently worked to ensure developments fit Wilton’s neighborhoods while promoting smart growth.
Colin Christ has spent decades leading teams and managing complex operations around the globe. Here at home, he and his wife Jessica are raising three children in Wilton. Colin will apply his practical, results-driven skills to planning, making sure Wilton’s development aligns with the needs of families, infrastructure and our town’s rural character.
Jed Englund brings 20 years of financial expertise and a thoughtful, principled approach to every decision. Since moving to Wilton in 2010, he has been deeply involved in the community. Jed’s focus on preserving open space, promoting sustainability, and supporting responsible growth will ensure that our town remains vibrant and balanced.
Jill, Colin, and Jed combine experience, judgment, and a love for Wilton. They are ready to guide our community wisely—please join me in supporting and voting for them!

Update: This article was updated after publication to correct words omitted from the letter submitted by Becky and Steve Hudspeth. The omission was due to an editing error, and the words ‘Board of Education’ were added to the end of the first paragraph.
