Take a guided walk through the riverside habitat of Schenck’s Island on Sat. May 9 and learn how to spot and identify birds by sight and sound with birding guide and conservationist Joe Bear.
Bear will share insights into bird behavior, calls, and migration patterns during this leisurely, 90-minute outing starting at 8 a.m.
The walk will take place rain or shine and follow easy terrain.
We encourage seasoned birders and those new to birdwatching to join us for a serene and satisfying morning. Don’t forget your binoculars and cameras!
