Exhibits Guided Tour by Director Nick Foster

June 30 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

$10

On Saturday, June 30, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the Wilton Historical Society will host a guided tour of its two new exhibitions – The Town Book: E. Boyd Smith’s 20th Century Wilton and Commitment to Community: The Lives of Francis Clerc and Francis Clerc Ogden. The tour, led by Wilton Historical Society Director Nick Foster, will offer additional historical details, behind the scenes information, and discussions on themes of the exhibitions. How do museums choose objects for an exhibition? Who influenced E. Boyd Smith’s art? What can we learn from working with the deaf community? Visitors can ask questions and share their own connections to the history being explored.

The program includes an approximately 35 to 45 minute guided tour of the two exhibitions with additional time for Q&A.

The fee is $10 for non-member adults and is free for Wilton Historical Society members and children under 18. Register on the Wilton Historical Society website.
