FREE Youth Gardening Program at Trackside

Do you have a budding youth gardener? Looking for a free, enriching program this spring? Check out the award-winning Green Teens Youth Gardening program.
The Wilton Garden Club and Trackside Teen Center team up to offer the Green Teens program to middle and high school students.
The goals of this program are to get more youth involved with creating and maintaining organic vegetable gardens, teach youth about the importance of healthy foods, learn about pollinators, learn basic floral design, make garden art and give back to the community.
All of the produce grown is donated to the Wilton Food Pantry and the fresh flowers are cut and arranged for the Wilton Senior Center.
This gardening program runs for five weeks on Wednesdays from 3:30-5 p.m. on May 15, May 22, May 29, June 5 and June 12. This is a free program, join us for any or all of these dates.
There are also opportunities to work in the garden over the summer months.
Youth gardeners can sign up on the Trackside website or by emailing Laurie Musilli.
