Get Well, Stay Well: Understanding Alzheimer’s and Dementia

Join Wilton Library in the Rimer Room during the week of the longest day of the year to learn about Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Alzheimer’s is not normal aging. It’s a disease of the brain that causes problems with memory, thinking, and behavior.

» The difference between Alzheimer’s and dementia.
» Alzheimer’s disease stages and risk factors.
» Current research and treatments available to address some symptoms.
» Alzheimer’s Association resources.

On the longest day, the Alzheimer’s Association works to fight the darkness of Alzheimer’s and all other dementia.

Danielle Ramos is a Volunteer Community Educator with the Alzheimer’s Association, CT Chapter. She has been a volunteer with the CT Chapter for over 10 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience.
