Learn About Wilton Public Schools Literacy Curriculum

Join Wilton SEPTA for “An Evening of Literacy,” and find out about the Wilton Public Schools’ Literacy Curriculum. The program is on Wednesday, Feb. 19, from 7-8:30 p.m., at the Comstock Community Center, Rm. 12.
The Wilton Schools are beginning their review of the Literacy Curriculum this year. Assistant superintendent Charles Smith, Ed. D. will present an overview of the Literacy Curriculum review process. Find out what the review process looks to accomplish, why it is important, and how you can get involved and share your feedback.
Karen Brenneke, K-8 Literacy Curriculum coordinator and Dr. Jennifer Falcone, Cider Mill School principal will present on the schools’ current Literacy Practices including the existing tiers of student support.
Andrea Leonardi, assistant superintendent of Student Support Services, will be present to answer questions regarding Special Education and Support Services.
