Wilton Land Conservation Trust’s Stewardship Sundays: A Community Workday for All Ages

Wilton Land Conservation Trust‘s Stewardship Sunday Program
Where: Schenck’s Island
When: Sunday, April 24
What: Native tree and shrub planting (50ish trees) and invasive removal
Who: The Wilton Land Conservation Trust welcomes all; this is a kid-friendly and family event. Drop-offs are OK.
By combining education and environmental management, Stewardship Sundays — led by WLCT and its youth interns — is an opportunity for people of all ages to get out there, improve the environment, meet like-minded folk, and take home some skills to apply in their yard and garden. All are welcome, come and join us!
Work gloves, pants, and boots are encouraged. Feel free to bring your tools (hand saws, chainsaws, clippers, shovels, rakes). Have fun and be safe out there.
