Trekking Together: A Spring Wildflower Hike

April 22 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

FREE

Join members of Wilton Land Trust and Woodcock Nature Center as they lead you on a hike to explore the world of spring ephemerals. You’ll have the chance to spot, identify, and learn about a variety of ephemerals, including trillium, bloodroot, twin leaf, false rue anemone, and wild ginger.

So, grab your water bottle, supportive shoes, tick repellant, camera, and binoculars for a morning of adventure and learning.  Don’t forget to leave your furry friends at home so we don’t scare away any potential wildlife!

The hike starts and ends at the Trailhead of Marble/Van Haelewyn Center Richards Preserve, located at the end of Abbott Lane in Wilton.  To register for the hike, visit the Wilton Land Trust’s website.
