Wilton Land Trust Hosts Birds of Prey: a Live Raptor Event

Join the Wilton Land Trust and Christine’s Critters, bring your family, and peek into the mysterious lives of New England Raptors in a WLT meadow.

This fun and educational family program increases public understanding and appreciation of North American birds of prey. Join in, and peek into the mysterious lives of New England Raptors in a WLT meadow.

The Birds of Prey live raptor event features hawks, owls, falcons, and other fantastic birds of prey. See these amazing creatures up close while learning about their unique traits and what makes them the birds of prey!

All are welcome to this relaxing program. Connect with nature, community, and yourself while learning about birds of prey.

 

The Wilton Land Trust is a community-focused nonprofit organization that conserves land, protects biodiversity, enhances ecosystems, and builds community.

Christine’s Critters is a non-profit 501(c)(3) wildlife rehabilitation facility that sees over 100 injured birds of prey come through their doors each year. Many of these birds are able to be rehabilitated and returned home to the wild, which helps offset the human impact on our wildlife. The birds that are unable to return to the wild are permanently injured and accompany CC to numerous educational programs each year to inspire other’s to take action towards their local environment.
