The second session of this three-part workshop series at Wilton Library focuses on the business life cycle, which involves determining the phase a business is in and strategizing for that particular phase.

What will be covered:
– A business life cycle’s 5 Stages – Including the “Exit Plan”
– The differences in strategy for each phase
– Your role as CEO / owner in each phase – “Delegate or die.”
– The 1. 2. 3. Rule regarding customers – “What do they really want?”
– Doing SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) analysis to assess internal and external factors that may impact your business. “Plug your holes.”
Note: The intended participants for these 3 workshops are growing and established businesses

Philip FitzGerald is the founder of Amplify Consulting Services, where he helps small businesses prepare for M&A transactions through exit planning, due diligence preparation and general transaction process support. Prior to founding Amplify, Phil was an investment banker for over 20 years with UBS and other firms. His experience includes buy-side and sell-side M&A, IPOs, public and private equity and debt financing transactions, general corporate advisory and strategic planning and operations. He has also worked with companies of all sizes and stages, including the Fortune 500, public and private companies, family and founder-owned businesses as well as startups.
