The Wilton Historical Society‘s spectacular new home accessories show debuts this weekend, and brings with it three days of style, fun and food to Wilton. Objects of Desire: Style for the Garden and Home promises to be a carefully edited, eclectic mix of outstanding pieces for the garden and home at a kick-off party on Friday, June 1 and a two-day show Saturday and Sunday, June 2-3. Visitors will find a treasure trove of one-of-a-kind garden accents, fine furniture, accessories, found objects and art–stylish objects for all tastes and a wide range of prices, beautifully presented on the verdant grounds of the Wilton Historical Society by 25-plus top dealers.
While people may come for the art, decor and accessories, they may stay for the food and fun. Food trucks will offer a great variety of eats: on Saturday, Bubble and Brew, (a new Wilton business) and Christophe’s Crepes will offer yummy fare, and on Sunday the Boothbay Lobster Truck and Crazy Taco will satisfy any cravings.
On Saturday afternoon, from 3-5 p.m., visitors can enjoy a complimentary glass of wine, accompanied by a cheese and charcuterie spread from Bernard’s of Ridgefield. On Sunday afternoon, from 2-3 p.m., the Wilton Garden Club will offer an urn planting demonstration.
Tickets are still available for purchase for the opening party (Friday, June 1, 6-8 p.m.), on the Historical Society website ($125/person).
The Wilton Historical Society is located at 224 Danbury Rd..
