Wilton first grader Kayla McCauley, 6 years old, won the Baked Goods and Preserves “Best of Show” Rosette and a First Premium ribbon at the Cannon Grange No. 152 Agricultural Fair this past Sunday, Aug. 28.
Kayla received her ribbons for her “Gone Fishing” themed, decorated banana chocolate chip cupcakes.
“We’re so proud of her!” her parents, Suzanne and Kiernan McCauley say, adding, “Kayla was so surprised and excited, it was the perfect way for her to end her summer holiday.”
Kayla will be starting first grade at Miller-Driscoll School next week.
