Wilton’s Annual Town-Wide Clean-Up Day

Wilton officials want to remind residents about this Saturday’s (Apr. 5) annual town-wide clean-up day, sponsored by the Wilton Conservation Commission. The event depends on volunteers.
Community members interested in pitching in to clean up Wilton should gather at the Town Green in Wilton Center (101 Old Ridgefield Rd.) from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
Work gloves and trash bags will be provided, and participants have a chance to win prizes. All volunteers will receive a coupon for one free slice of pizza from Pinocchio Pizza too.
Wilton High School Hosts Spring Pop-Up Market to Support Local Sustainability

Mark your calendars for a vibrant morning of shopping and community bonding, all to support environmental sustainability.
On Saturday, Apr. 12, from 9:30 a.m.-12 p.m., the Zellner Gallery in the Wilton High School Clune Auditorium (395 Danbury Rd.) will transform into a buzzing Pop-up Market.
Hosted by the WHS Green Team, Culinary Club and Crochet Club, the spring sale will feature many exciting and unique items, including thrifted clothing, delicious baked goods, handmade jewelry, and cozy crocheted items. The entry is free, and purchases are cash only, making it an easy and fun way to support Wilton High School student creativity and sustainability efforts.
All proceeds from the market will support Wilton Go Green, a local organization dedicated to environmental awareness and action.
With a kind-hearted, environmentally-driven sale, come shop, support, and celebrate a greener Wilton this spring!

Wilton Police Department Invites All to Coffee with a Cop
The Wilton Police Department invites the community to Coffee with a Cop, an event that provides an opportunity to ask questions and meet Wilton police officers.
The coffee is on Friday, Apr. 4, from 8-10 a.m. at Dunkin’ (35 Danbury Rd.).
WHS Band Can and Bottle Drive

The Wilton High School Music Boosters is holding its next monthly Can and Bottle Drive on Sunday, Apr. 6 from 1-4 p.m.
Donate your redeemable cans and bottles to the Wilton High School Band in the WHS Board of Education parking lot by the Catalpa Rd. entrance, where student volunteers will receive and sort your recyclables.
The group will accept plastic/aluminum cans and bottles labeled CT or CTRV, as well as glass bottles (see this link if unsure).
Organizers are looking to have support from Wilton businesses. Reach out via email if interested in helping monthly by collecting the recyclables used by the clients and employees at a location for pickup by a volunteer before the drive.
