Turnover Shop Donates $50,000 to Wilton Public School PTAs

The Turnover Shop in Wilton Center

Dr. Kevin Smith announced a bit of GOOD news during Thursday’s (Dec. 16) Board of Education meeting — he thanked the Turnover Shop, which will be donating $50,000 to the PTAs of the Wilton Public School. “[It] is really remarkable. That donation is incredibly generous and really goes right back to our students in our program through the PTAs. So,  thank you to the Turnover Shop and thank you to our PTAs for working with our schools to enrich our programs.

Congratulations, Will Haskell!

Congratulations to Wilton’s State Senator Will Haskell, who proposed to his girlfriend, Katie Cion, and she said yes! The two met as physics partners in high school at Staples High School in Westport. Cion graduated from Harvard Law School last spring and, according to LinkedIn, is a legal fellow fellow at the MacArthur Justice Center’s Supreme Court and Appellate Program, litigating civil rights and criminal justice issues.
