Martha! Martha! Martha!

Wilton Library executive director Elaine Tai-Lauria dropped a bombshell at last night’s Board of Selectmen meeting, during her annual budget presentation to the BOS. While she was (rightfully so) touting everything GOOD the Wilton Library offers the town, she included how the library continues to attract big-name authors for book promotion appearances. To illustrate the point, she made a big announcement–the next visiting author the library is bringing to Wilton will be Martha Stewart on March 12.

The book she’ll be promoting is Martha’s Guide to Everything. The event will be ticketed–and the purchase of the book ($35) will include two tickets to the event. Tai-Lauria said there are really great tips in the book, and it will give Wilton really good exposure.
