Three out of the last four homes recorded by Wilton town clerk’s office as sold in 2015 fell into the $700,000-$800,000 range. According to information distributed each week to media by the town clerk (including address and sale price), the homes that changed hands during the week of Dec. 11-17 were:
- Louis and Lisa Cristantiello sold 32 Cedar Rd. to Richard Cummins for $785,000.

- Martin and Agnes Woros sold 227 Westport Rd. to Raghu Ramanujan and Bama Govindaraja for $800,000.

- Mary Guggeis sold 37 Orems Ln. to Daniel and Laurel Fortin for $400,000.

- Amelia Hopkins sold 157 Cheese Spring Rd. to Edward and Mary Jayne Wilson for $712,500 (see main image).
The housing inventory is hurting values. A home in Wilton is no longer an investment. Prices stagnate , taxes go up, value drops, mill rate covers the shortfall, nobody seems to care.
