The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory in effect from 7-11 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 9 warning that freezing rain is expected in Wilton. Although the total ice accumulation may amount to only “a light glaze,” according to the advisory, predicted impacts would be slippery sidewalks, roads and bridges.
The advisory covers portions of southern Connecticut, northeast New Jersey, and southeast New York.
