Dust off your leg warmers and tease that hair high, because Trackside Teen Center‘s rockin’ 80s Night. Partygoers should mark their calendars for Saturday, April 27, for a totally tubular, adult dance party and fundraiser.
The last time Trackside rocked the night away with 80s anthems, the event sold out. This year, the volume gets cranked even higher. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, Feb. 21.
Get ready for a night of:
Head-banging beats: DJ John Priest will be spinning all your favorite 80s classics, from Bon Jovi to Madonna, Bowie & Queen. Guaranteed to keep you dancing all night!
Culinary rewind: Enjoy delicious spread of 80’s inspired food to fuel your dance moves – included in your ticket price.
Open bar: Because what’s an 80s party without some epic beverages? Raise a glass (responsibly, of course) to a night of fun and supporting our teens.
Spectacular sponsors: A huge shout-out to Wilton Fit Body Boot Camp. For a second year in a row, they’ll be kicking things off with an epic dance performance. Thank you as well to Fairfield County Bank, Fresh Green Light, Uncle Leo’s, Wilton Deli and more for their continued sponsorships.
Fit Body Boot Camp coach Melly Bonita said the workout gym is thrilled to support Trackside Teen Center for the second year in a row and open the night with a dance performance.
“Trackside is a gem in the Wilton community and we are thrilled to offer our support at Wilton’s most fun night of the year! We’ve got our high tops laced up and we’re ready to dance the night away!” she said.
Tickets are $125 each and include food, an open bar, 80s music and dancing.
Organizers say community support is especially meaningful and important as they work to make up for the loss of town funding.
“This is a big fundraising year for us,” Trackside Executive Director Lori Fields said. “Community support is vital right now to bridge the gap between program revenues and the increased costs of operations. We are proud to celebrate our 20th year of Trackside being a safe, inclusive place where teens can come to socialize, receive mentorship and support, develop leadership skills, engage in enriching programs and events, and just relax and feel good about themselves. Our teens need this type of environment now more than ever, it is foundational for their well-being and future success. We wouldn’t be here without your generous support.”

“Don’t miss Wilton’s best dance party and Trackside’s biggest fundraiser of the year,” Fields added. “Grab your neon, spray your bangs up high, book your sitter and we’ll see you on the dance floor, on April 27.”
