Believe it or not school starts again soon! Whether your kids are starting kindergarten, or are seasoned pros ready to get back into the swing of things, come to Merwin Meadows to meet with friends on Tuesday, Aug. 12, 1-3 p.m.. This will be a fantastic opportunity for kids to make new friends and catch up with old ones, before the much anticipated first day of school on Monday, Aug. 25.

Wilton Newcomers Club is organizing this family park playdate at Merwin Meadows. They’ve planned the event to coincide with Miller-Driscoll’s New Student Scavenger hunt (which runs from Tuesday, Aug. 12, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at M-D for Kindergarteners and any new students in grades 1 and 2), so stop by with the kids after checking out the new school!

College Creamery,Wilton’s hometown ice cream truck, will be stopping by Merwin Meadows to help everyone cool off during the course of the afternoon.

Merwin Meadows charges a minimal daily entrance fee for walk-in visitors who do not have a season pass (adults $5, children age 5-17 $2).
