Wilton Library’s Giving Tree is an annual tradition that stands bright in the gallery each year at this time. The tree is a Wish List of items, materials and programs that the library would like to bring into the collection or provide to the community. Give a gift of honoring of someone by picking an item on an “ornament,” bringing it to the circulation desk and paying for it. The item can be purchased in honor or in memory of someone, or to commemorate a special occasion. A lovely gift card is given to the purchaser, who in turn can give it to the person or family being honored. Where possible, a bookplate will be placed on the selected item to highlight the honoree.
Items in this category are represented by a $20 puzzle that will be purchased for the Library’s growing circulating puzzle collection and for those that are placed in the library for people to put together while they spend time in the reading area. (Items may go quickly but there are many choices in this category if the puzzle is not available.) (137 Old Ridgefield Rd.)
