Goes Green for ‘Wilton Go Green’ Festival!

You may have noticed something a little different about GOOD Morning Wilton this morning. We’ve gone green!

Our new look is in honor of the 4th Annual Wilton Go Green Festival, taking place this Sunday, May 4 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Wilton Center. is one of the media sponsors, and we’ll be exhibiting at the Town Green, so stop by and visit us, as well as more than 60 other exhibitors. We’ll have some fun giveaways and we know it’s going to be a great day!

Here’s the schedule of events:

8:30 a.m.:  Woodcock Nature Center “Where the Wild Things Run”: 5K Race/Walk and Kids Fun Run
11 a.m.–2 p.m.:  City Carting Shredding Truck; Post Office parking lot
11-11:30 a.m.:  Peter McDowell (singer/songwriter/guitarist) at the North Parking Lot stage (Wilton Library)
11:30 a.m.-noon:  Westport Electric Car Club Rally, West Parking Lot (Wilton Library)
11:30 a.m.-noon:  Opening Remarks, front of library
11:30 a.m.-noon:  Check Presentation to Norwalk River Valley Trail
noon-1 p.m.:  Wilton Steel
1-2 p.m.:  Atka the Wolf
2-3 p.m.  May Pole, front lawn of Bank of America
2-4 p.m.:  Carter Vail (singer/songwriter/guitarist); The Four (jazz quarter); and Grey Rocks (acoustic band)
3-4 p.m.:  Tree Steward Award Presentation, Wilton Tree Committee, Brubeck Courtyard at the Wilton Library
