GOOD To Shop, Eat, Play and Explore: Wilton’s Street Fair and Sidewalk Sale is This Saturday

Get ready for a day of excitement and community spirit as the Wilton Chamber of Commerce presents the 14th Annual Wilton Street Fair and Sidewalk Sales this Saturday, July 18, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. (rain or shine), as Wilton Center transforms into a vibrant hub of activity and entertainment. It’s a prime opportunity for residents and visitors alike to enjoy a day filled with bargains, fun and delicious treats.

There’s a full day of entertainment planned for the whole family — even for any furry friends. Enjoy music, live performances and a variety of new activities centered around the gazebo, including the “Touch-a-Truck” that features vehicles from the Wilton Fire Department, Wilton Police Department, Wilton Volunteer Ambulance Corps and Wilton CERT.

Wilton Library joins the festivities with an outdoor summer book sale some of its best bargains of the year. Plus there are several interactive activities throughout the lineup on Old Ridgefield Rd., including face-painting, inflatable games, magicians, balloon characters, street performers, kids’ crafts, live animal encounters, and sand art. There will also be several food and beverage options.

“This summer festival is more than just the Chamber’s biggest event of the year—it’s a celebration of our community and its incredible spirit,” Wilton Chamber Executive Director Camille Carriero said.

GOOD To Shop for Winter in Summer: Outdoor Sports Center’s Huge Tent Sale

Even more bargains can be found outside of Wilton Center starting the same weekend of the Street Fair and Sidewalk Sale. Outdoor Sports Center’s Annual Sidewalk Sale returns Thursday, July 16 through Sunday, July 19, with 30-70% off outdoor clothing and footwear, plus great deals on skis, boots, bikes and kayaks. Top brands the store carries — Patagonia, The North Face, HOKA, On, Vuori and more — including top names in bikes, skis and boats can be scooped up under the big outdoor tent for four days only (80 Danbury Rd.). Store representatives said to come early, the best stuff always goes fast.
