The Wilton Historical Society is debuting a new, two-day home furnishings show, “Objects of Desire: Style for the Garden and Home,” bringing a carefully edited, eclectic mix of outstanding pieces for the garden and home to Wilton. Mid-century, antique, contemporary, one-of-a-kind garden accents, fine furniture, found objects, art and accessories will be beautifully presented by 25+ top dealers on the grounds of the Historical Society, with proceeds benefitting the Society.
The show will be open Saturday, June 2 and Sunday, June 3, and show hours on both days are 10 a.m.-5 p.m..
Planning is underway for a festive Preview Party on Friday, June 1, from 6-8 p.m.. Catered by Barcelona and featuring a sangria bar, the event will also be an opportunity for early buying. Wilton resident Marianne Howatson, CEO and publications director of Connecticut Cottages and Gardens is the guest of honor. Tickets for the gala are $125 per person.
