Wilton resident and business owner Peter Finnie makes a lot of people happy with his annual shoe and boot sample sale, opening up the stock from his wholesale shoe line, Sheridan Mia, that he designs. He has also extended that sales flare into Local Soul, a retail store that opened last year in Wilton Center that sells not only Finnie’s shoes but also the goods and items created by local artisans and crafters.
What many people may not know is that Finnie has an inspiring story about his experience overcoming cancer, and a video about what he and his family have overcome is being featured on Hooplaha.com, the national website about good things. Hooplaha.com is also a Wilton-based company, that was started by another Wilton resident Rob Hess.
