According to updates from the First Selectman’s office, construction is continuing in multiple Wilton locations on the Yankee Gas natural gas pipeline.

Activities for Wednesday, Aug. 6 include the following spots:

  • The first GPL Construction crew will continue to work on School Rd.. They have completed all of Kristine Lilly Way from Catalpa Rd. to School Rd. They will continue south on School Rd toward Cider Mill School(Red High School Zone)
  • The second GPL crew will be continuing work in Wilton Center on Old Ridgefield Rd.. They are working south on Old Ridgefield Rd. in front of the Wilton Library. Due to road width constraints, Old Ridgefield Rd. will be closed for portions of the day. Residents can access local businesses by using Godfrey Pl. to go around the road closure. (Red Business District Zone)
  • Henkels and McCoy Construction will be operating the third crew in the area of Wolfpit Rd (Rte. 106) and Danbury Rd. (Rte. 7). They will continue working westbound on Wolfpit Rd. just in from the intersection with Rte. 7. They will have lanes open in both directions on Wolfpit Rd. and anticipate minimal effect on local traffic. (Neon green Wolfpit Rd. Zone)
