Customers who ordered citrus from the Wilton Kiwanis Club can pick up their orders beginning this Friday, March 2 at ECS Transportation (390 Danbury Rd.) across from Wilton High School. Pickup times are:

  • Friday, March 2:  noon-5 p.m.
  • Saturday, March 3:  9 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Sunday,  March 4:  noon-5 p.m.

Although the deadline to order has passed, it is still possible to purchase fruit at ECS. Extra cases of grapefruit, oranges and Halos have been ordered to accommodate customers. The Kiwanis Club accepts cash, credit cards, checks and PayPal.

“The fruit is being picked as we speak from the sunny groves of Florida and California so we know it is going to be fresh,” says John Kalamarides, president of Wilton Kiwanis.

He also notes that 100% of net proceeds are distributed to local charitable causes with an emphasis on helping the welfare of children and teens. Wilton Kiwanis is the the oldest service organization in Wilton. The Club stands on three pillars:  community service, altruism, and camaraderie.
