The Wilton League of Women Voters hosts Wilton’s new Social Services director Sarah Heath as guest speaker at its Wednesday, Jan. 24 meeting at 7 p.m. at Comstock Community Center, (180 School Rd.).
Heath was appointed to her post in 2017, after serving most recently as Westport’s Human Services Director. Following a brief business meeting, Heath will describe the work of her department which includes Wilton’s Senior Center and related services, Youth Services, Food Pantry, and state/federal program assistance to the general public. The Social Services Commission–a group of Wilton volunteers appointed by the Board of Selectmen and chaired by Genevieve Eason—advises the department in its work.
