To the Editor:
On behalf of A Better Chance of Wilton (ABC of Wilton), we would like to thank everyone who supported our Wilton House Tour on Friday, May 29. We had an outstanding turnout that far surpassed our expectations. Wilton truly opened their “hearts and homes” to support the ABC program. There are so many people to thank for their efforts, and we could not have had such a successful event without them.
GOOD Morning Wilton was our media sponsor and proved to be a valuable marketing tool, and interviewed many of our ABC scholars and host families, current and alumni.
In addition, our Magna Cum Laude sponsors were: Brooks and Falotico Associates, Danbury Porsche Audi, Garavel Auto Group, Gregory and Adams, P.C., Karen Morneau Photography and Wilton Magazine; our Cum Laude Sponsors were: Coldwell Banker, Marianne Buchanan Interiors and Gardens, Realty Seven, Ring’s End and TracyLocke; our Patron Sponsors were: Bolton Landscape Design & Masonry Inc., Evolved Home, Hoffman Landscapes, Inc., Jennifer Anderson Design & Development, McMahon Ford, Servco and Toll Brothers; and our Friends of ABC Sponsors were: Bankwell, Blue Star Bazaar for Women & Kids, Courtney Kleeman, Dr. Michael L. Lewin, MD, Fairfield County Bank, Hess Construction and Renovation, LLC, Julie Stein Interior Design, Kathleen Cragan Interior Design, Lee Horticultural Services, Ltd, McWilliams-Autore Interiors, Riverside Fence and Wilton Cleaners. These sponsors donated our initial seed money to get our event off to a great start.
Also, we would like to thank our homeowners who graciously opened their beautiful homes to our event. New this year, a beautiful luncheon donated by Kris and Marc Granetz catered by Matthew John Caterers made this house tour spectacular. Thank you to Lemon Dahlias and Earth Garden for providing fresh flowers for the homes for an extra special touch.
Thank you to Open House, Signature Style, and Wilton Hardware for allowing us to sell our tickets in their stores. Their efforts allowed us to sell tickets with ease to the local community, Success Printing of Norwalk for printing our marketing materials, ticket and map and the Wilton Congregational Church provided a wonderful location for ticket pick-up. And, a special thank you to the Wilton Police Department that ensured everyone’s safety. This truly was a community event!
Finally, we would like to thank our outstanding committee who worked many hours to make this event such a huge success. In addition, thank you to the ABC board for their tremendous support. Last but not least, we would like to thank Georgia Davala and Robin Fields for all of their hard work. They were truly the “heart” of this event and it was our pleasure to work with them.
Sincerely,
Carrie Preisano and Elizabeth Walsh
