To the Editor:
The Kiwanis Club of Wilton expresses sincere thanks and appreciation to the many hundreds of local folks who purchased our pumpkins this year at the Wilton Historical Society site. The thousands of dollars which were earned will be distributed in the near term to local charities assisting children and people hungry or hurting.
Our club, the oldest of its kind in Wilton, prides itself in fulfilling our three basic objectives of charity, service and friendship. We reach out to the community whenever we can work, help and assist. We continually seek new members of all ages and genders and we encourage and welcome inquiries about participation. Your continued support helps enhance our Town.
