To the Editor:
Following the success of another Wilton Woman’s Club Fashion Show, we would like to thank all those who supported our Spring event and its beneficiary, the Wilton Land Conservation Trust and their efforts to Save 183 Ridgefield Road. The WWC has a long history of supporting open space in Wilton, and we were proud to be part of an effort to make this beautiful plot of land a true asset to the town and its residents.
The 12th Annual fashion show could not have been possible without the support of our sponsors, donors and the many Wilton businesses that donated items to our silent auction. Thank you so much to our sponsors, Bankwell, Price Financial, Toll Family Fund, and media sponsor GOOD Morning Wilton.
We are similarly grateful for the many club members who worked tirelessly in preparation for the event: from the models to the decorations, and all the logistics in between. A special thank you goes out to our Committee Chairs, Lori Buchanan, Debbie Corrigan, Ilinca Creveling, Dianne deWitt, Janel Downs, Amy Foodman, Kris Herlyn, Tricia King, Doris Noonan, Kathy Poirier, Liz Salguero, Brenda Sorrels, and Karen Tartell. This event was a genuine group effort that included all those in attendance who supported this important cause.
We hope to see everyone next year at our 2020 fundraiser and look forward to the many proposed ideas for 183 Ridgefield Rd. becoming a reality.
