Are you looking for some guidance on how to set healthy limits on video games? Wilton Youth Council’s Parent Connection and the Wilton Library will bring Dr. Eric Schleifer to talk to parents about the effects of video games on children and how to create a plan for managing healthy video game use.
Dr. Schleifer received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the Gordon F. Derner Center for Psychoanalytic Studies at Adelphi University, where he wrote his dissertation on the long and short-term effects of video games on children. He currently has a private practice in Stamford that serves children, adolescents and their families.
The presentation will be hosted by the Wilton Library in the Rimer Room on Wednesday, Feb. 26 from 10:30 a.m.-12 noon. Admission is free, registration is strongly encouraged. To register, please call 203.762.3950, ext. 213 or visit www.wiltonlibrary.org/events.
