Wilton Library’s Beyond Words benefit event, held last Friday, May 1, raised $80,000 for Wilton Library’s programs, technology and services.
The benefit was catered by AMG Catering with a decidedly southern-influenced cuisine as a nod to the Kentucky Derby theme. The celebrity auctioneer was Ira Joe Fisher who got the crowd stirred up in a friendly bidding war over the live auction items. Tish and Chris Brubeck were honorary chairs and the Beyond Words committee was led by co-chairs Michele Ferguson-Nichols and Callie Mellana.
Sponsors for the event were the Amadeo Family, Fairfield County Bank, Michael P. Kaelin/Cummings & Lockwood, LLC, Gregory and Adams, PC, and Moet Hennessey. The media sponsor was Wilton Magazine.
