Watching fireworks, the crowd says, “Oooooh, aaaaaaahh!” You might say the same for Wilton’s real estate market last week, as 14 homes traded hands. What’s more, eight out of the 14 sold for amounts exceeding $1 million.
According to numbers provided by the town clerk’s office, those properties were (including sale price and address):
- Stephen and Catherine Moss sold 16 Robin Ln. to Mark Pettorini for $1,010,000.

- Gretchen Wilted sold 131 Millstone Rd. to Charles Rober Eick, Jr. for $1,250,000.

- Concetta Haney (estate) sold 94 Mather St. to Alexander and Malysa Corey for $353,000.

- Jebb Atkinson sold 70 Cedar Rd. to unidentified buyer for $1,134,500.

- Randall and Karen Rasmussen sold 81 Grumman Hill Rd. to Maor Sauler and Robyn Scatena for $1,008,500.

- Sunil and Vikram Kapur sold 32 Village Walk to Venkateswara Saduneni and Vasanta Meduri for $302,000.

- Lawrence and Antoinette Landry sold 27 Lovers Ln. to Michael and Juliet Craig for $1,075,000.

- Raymond and Leigh Anne Floyd sold 67 Dudley Rd. to Amy Gettler for $1,375,000.

- Anthony and Barbara Bertucci sold 118 Scarlet Oak Dr. to Raymond and Kristen Ferranti for $855,000.

- Eric and Mary Beth Johnson sold 82 Middlebrook Farm Rd. to Edward and Lora Sherman for $1,618,750.

- Cathleen S. Meyers (Trust) sold 6 Silvermine Woods to Mary Cerabino for $857,500.

- Ruth Briody (Trust) sold 225 Thayer Pond Rd. to Ryan Love and Alysia Wurst for $841,000.

- Raul Chaves and Deborah Arnold de Chavez sold 320 Westport Rd. to Neam Ahmed and Anisa Kelib for $809,000.

- John and Michelle Callaghan sold 14 Brandon Circle to Andrew and Kristen Dougherty for $1,828,750 (Pictured in article’s main image).



Wilton is indeed selling more homes this past few months. There is however something that we need to take into consideration, especially in the more expensive part of the market. If you are a long time resident you are no doubt making some appreciation on your home, but most are in the six figure bracket.The higher prices (seven figures) are not doing as well. I went to the Assessor data base and looked at what the previous sale prices, and date of those sales. This is what I came up with. To be fair some may have been trust transfers, claims, etc, but these are the numbers.

I do not know the exact date of sale, but safe to say it was this spring. It is also interesting to note, although I did not print it here, what the Town appraised the homes at!!
