Once again, the students of Miller-Driscoll Elementary School helped spread some love on Valentine’s Day to Wilton’s seniors.
Students in all grades, from pre-K to 2nd, were invited to participate by making handmade valentines to give to residents at Wilton Meadows and The Greens. They worked hard at home to make the valentines–so hard, in fact that several hundred were collected to give away.
While the snowstorm pushed the weekend delivery to after school on Monday, there were several students who helped distribute the heart-shaped greetings. The effort is one of several community service projects that the M-D PTA organizes for the students to do each year.
