Wilton’s Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Fairfield County is planning “The Magic of May” benefit to be held Sunday, May 1 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the magnificent home of agency friend and supporter, Liz Fox, on Sasco Hill Rd. in Southport. The event will raise funds to benefit the non-profit home healthcare and hospice agency’s patients in need.

The festivities will include cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, live and silent auctions, a giving tree, the wizardry of celebrated magician, Bill Herz, the musical mojo of Chris Coogan at the keyboards—and all at a magical manor with mesmerizing views of Southport Harbor and Long Island Sound.

The auction offerings include tickets to the hit Broadway musical, Hamilton, a glorious week’s stay in a luxury home on Kiawah Island, four field-level tickets to a Mets game, tickets to the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, tickets to a Yankees/Red Sox game at Fenway, a week-long deluxe vacation at the sumptuous Grand Mayan resort, and much more.

The Bauer Foundation is a title sponsor of The Magic of May benefit, as is Fox. Other event sponsors to date include Janet and Peter Lebovitz, Louise B. Goodridge, Sara and Dave Hunt, and Ellen and Scott Lewis.

Ellen Lewis is a Wilton resident and member of the volunteer benefit committee; she’s joined on the committee by fellow Wiltonians Carol Bauer, Carol Boehly, Janice Hess, and Judy Higby. Other members include New Canaan residents Janet Leibovitz and Carlyn Tiefenthaler, Bethel resident Aisling Gavin, Norwalk resident Dawn Jeffrey, and Weston resident Ken Edgar.

Corporate and individual sponsorship opportunities are still available. For tickets or more information about The Magic of May benefit, call Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Fairfield County at 203.834.6341, ext. 305, or register online.
