Strike up the band, the Wilton Children’s Theater‘s production of The Music Man Junior hits the stage this weekend, March 14-16 at the Middlebrook School Auditorium. Show times are Friday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 4 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m..

The show, written by Meredith Wilson, follows fast-talking traveling salesman Harold Hill as he cons the people of River City, Iowa into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys’ band he vows to organize. The catch? He doesn’t know a trombone from a treble clef.
