Music on the Hill invites singers, including students, for music of Scandinavia with artistic director David H. Connell, conductor. Musical selections will sample the rich and historic choral music traditions from countries surrounding the Baltic Sea.
Rehearsals are Tuesdays, 7 to 9 p.m., starting April 3 at the WEPCO church complex, (48 New Canaan Rd.). The concert is Friday, April 27, at 8 p.m. at Wilton Presbyterian Church at WEPCO.
The concert will feature the Music on the Hill Festival Chorus and Chamber Chorus, two of the organization’s four performing ensembles. Ensemble members join for one music project at a time, one rehearsal/concert cycle lasting four to six weeks. Each ensemble includes both new and returning members, with new participants always welcome. Learn about ensembles on the Music on the Hill website.
Register to sing by e-mail. There is no cost to participate.
