Wilton High School has a stellar music program–band, orchestra and choral students win accolades and applause for their many performances. Yet something that factors into all those performances is the need to dress for success, which sometimes carries a hefty price tag.

Now parents of a few music department students have come up with a great way to help save money and still outfit their children for the stage. They’ve created a Concert Attire Recycle Program.

They’ve collected a limited number of formal dresses and tuxedos, donated by students who have graduated or no longer participate in the music program. This formalwear is in good condition and available for FREE to students who participate in the WHS band, orchestra or choral music programs.

They’ve set up “shopping times” for students to schedule appointments to try things on and take what they need. They’ve set up “shop” in the hallway across from the Wilton High School choral music room. (They are also accepting donations of clean, gently used concert formal wear for girls and boys at any time.)
