3:30 p.m. — The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Wilton, in effect from now until 10 p.m. EDT this evening. Included in the watch area are four counties in southern Connecticut: Fairfield, Middlesex, New Haven and New London.
The severe weather watch extends to New Jersey (Bergen and Passaic counties) and southeast New York (Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester).
