Interested in getting a jump on New Year’s resolutions by starting an outdoor exercise program? You can do so as early as Dec. 1 at the Wilton High School track.

The Wilton Parks & Recreation Department has announced that the lights at the running track around Wilton High School’s Fujitani Field will be turned on from 5-9 p.m. every Monday through Friday during the winter months, starting on Dec. 1. The track will be available for walking, running and general exercise as long as the weather is nice.

Lights will not be turned on when the track is covered with snow or ice, or when the weather is extremely cold or inclement. Residents can call 203.454.5188 to check for cancellations prior to heading to the track.
