Wilton’s registrars of voters Carole Young-Kleinfeld (D) and Tina Gardner (R) announce a special in-person voter registration session for Connecticut’s April 26, 2016 Presidential Primary:
- Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at the Wilton Town Hall, 4-6 p.m.—In-person registration and party enrollment session.
- Thursday, April 21, 2016—deadline for mailed-in voter registration or party enrollment.
- Monday, April 25, 2016 at 12 noon—deadline for in-person voter registration and party enrollment.
Members of the armed forces and recently discharged members of the armed forces may be admitted as electors at any time before 5 p.m. on April 25, 2016. Wilton residents may use the Secretary of the State’s online voter registration site to register to vote, change an address, join a political party, or change their names. By state law, 17-year-old registered voters may vote in the Presidential Primary as long as they turn 18 by November 8, 2016 Election Day.
On primary day, three polling places—WHS Clune Center, Cider Mill School Gymnasium, and Middlebrook School Gymnasium—will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.. Voters may use Wilton’s Voter Information Look-Up page on the town’s website to check their registration or polling place.
