The Norwalk River Valley Trail (NRVT) held its first annual Mutt Strut on Saturday, May 5 along sections of the NRVT in Norwalk, Wilton and Ridgefield. The fundraiser was a hit, attracting hundreds of participants and raising over $13,000.

“It was great seeing such an impressive turnout. We’re very thankful for the community’s generous support to help build more of the NRVT,” said Charlie Taney, NRVT’s executive director.

The NRVT’s vision is a 33 mile, multi-purpose trail connecting Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk and Rogers Park in Danbury, passing through Wilton, Ridgefield, and Redding on the way.
