With rains steadily falling all weekend and only patchy breaks in the weather, the town waterways are rising. The National Weather Service issued flood warnings through the latter part of the weekend.
This picture was taken Sunday morning at Cannondale, behind the Schoolhouse Restaurant; it shows the Norwalk River swollen and moving pretty quickly, with the river almost cresting near the top of the bank. Police reported that no roads were closed during the weekend rains.
