Imagine going to a museum and viewing an exhibit of yourself. Wilton’s Olympic superstar Kristine Lilly had that exact experience when she was welcomed Tuesday, July 10, by the Wilton Historical Society to see the new permanent exhibit, “Connecticut’s History, Wilton’s Story,” which features one of her jerseys.

Among the other Kristine Lilly items currently on display in the “History is Here!” exhibit are objects, including a Wheaties cereal box, a bobble head, a metal lunch box with thermos, and beanie babies.

Lilly was accompanied by family and friends during her visit. Above, she’s pictured (center) with Kim Mellin, co-director of the Wilton Historical Society (left), and Dr. Greg Chann, an emeritus trustee, of the Society.
