Each year, Wilton’s graduating high school seniors are treated to an amazing Post Graduation Party (PGP) on the night of graduation, to mark the culmination of their school years here. Traditionally, the PGP theme is a tightly guarded secret that isn’t revealed until just before graduation. The PGP organizing committee reveals clues in the weeks before to build excitement, and starting this week GOOD Morning Wilton is thrilled to again help seniors–and everyone else in town–as one of Wilton’s go-to spots where clues will be published, to help everyone take part in the fun of guessing what this year’s PGP theme could be.
PGP 2015 will take place on June 20, and the organizing committee has been hard at work making sure every detail is perfect. The party is the capper to a 7-year-long Class Project that unites the students and brings together their parents in an ongoing effort to encourage friendships as well as provide a drug- and alcohol-free way to celebrate the kids’ hard work.
GMW will release new clues each week in May. In addition, the committee will post them on the PGP 2015 Facebook and Twitter pages. Clues will also be placed in select locations throughout Wilton, including the Village Market, Portofino, Peachwave, Coffee Barn, Scoops, Signature Style and at the WHS reception booth of the much-beloved Kim Ely.
The clues will become more revealing each consecutive week. Seniors can start to guess by posting on the PGP social media pages and prizes will be awarded to one senior boy and one senior girl each week in the following categories:
Week 1: First guess posted. Prize: Gift Card to Sandwedge
Week 2: Most creative guess posted. Prize: Gift Card to Chipotle
Week 3: Funniest guess posted. Prize: Gift Card to Coffee Barn
Week 4: Best guess. Prize: Gift Basket
